Eric Eckardt, Managing Partner
Eric Eckardt, a co-founder who's career stretches over fifteen years, including eight years on Wall Street working on over 100 bank-financing transactions for large fortune 500 and middle market companies, including senior bank financing for mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, land acquisitions, commercial office building purchases, and general working capital needs.
Eric has been involved in over $10 billion in financings during his career while working at Chase Securities, Inc. (JPMorgan Chase), Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi and ABN AMRO Inc. for both middle market and Fortune 500 companies . He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs raise capital through DPOs and formerly founded a crowd-funding platform.
Given his financial background combined with his entrepreneurial ventures since 2004 in the .com space, makes him uniquely qualified to leverage both social media and technology to assist his clientele (middle market companies) in maximizing their probability of raising their target investment.
Eric graduated from Pace University with a BBA in Finance and Columbia Business School Executive Education Program. He also received formal credit training at Chase Securities Inc. (JPMorgan Chase), receiving a certificate as a credit trained financial analyst and studied abroad in Amsterdam, The Netherlands at ABN AMRO Corporate Training Facility completing an advanced corporate structuring class.
Giuseppe Papandrea, Managing Partner
Giuseppe is co-founder of VeraCrest Capital who began his formal career in the Financial industry with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as an analyst. He then went on to Business Development and Technology in the Private sector. This brought him to the Helm as Co-CEO of middle Market Construction Supply Company which supplied the North East Region of the US.
Utilizing his family background in the Construction industry, he first set out to learn the business from the ground up and was exceptionally successful in building a firm and brand. Implementing new technology and practices to a staunch and “set in their ways” industry, he was sought after by his competition and clientele alike to formulate and execute various strategies to increase their bottom line. Joint Ventures, private placements and restructure were in his repertoire in business development.
Giuseppe has an arsenal of expertise and experience in diverse ventures of business across a broad range of industry Sectors. One common denominator is that he is the Consummate Deal maker. He has an innate understanding of what his clientele is trying to achieve and can successfully formulate a plan to maximize exposure and bottom line.
Mike Zizza, Senior Director & Clean Technology Advisor
Mike provides Veracrest Capital Partners with expertise in the clean technology space to include sustainability, renewables, energy efficiency, and smart grid. With over 16 years of progressive experience, he served as an Army officer, management consultant, and business development director. Mike focuses on aligning clean technology solutions with a client’s strategic and operational goals.
Mike recently led business and corporate development roles for two EPC (engineer, procure, construct) firms in the renewable energy (solar photovoltaic, wind) and conservation/optimization (smart grid, power transmission) space. This role included multimillion dollar projects for federal and utility clients. Mike will leverage this technical and financial expertise for subsequent Veracrest DPO implementations.
Prior to working in energy, Mike performed IT strategy, systems engineering, and business development support for Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. Before serving with Booz Allen’s Defense and IT Teams, he began his career as an Ordnance and Field Artillery officer in various command and staff roles.
Mike holds a BS in Political Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Technology Leadership from the University of Virginia and MBA from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
Michael Correale, Associate
Michael works closely with senior leadership to support our business development initiatives and direct public offerings. He brings a "rain making” approach which has resulted in increased visibility and a broader array of clientele through his past dealings with various industry sectors. Michaels skill set is a direct result of his entrepreneurial upbringing in working with his family businesses at an early age. His is currently involved in a number of different industries providing broad exposure to Veracrest.
He holds a Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) from Hofstra University.
